Mock Trials at the John H. Wood, Jr. Federal Courthouse

Each year, members of the Firm of Barkhurst & Hinojosa, P.C. organize a mock trial for high school students who go on to compete in a state competition. This mock trial coincides each year with the Trial of Santa Claus, both of which are sponsored by the Federal Courts Committee and the San Antonio Bar Association. In preparation for their mock trial before a sitting federal judge, the students attend a workshop on trial advocacy (from opening statements to closing arguments), sponsored by Barkhurst & Hinojosa, P.C.
